Official Visit – Burrard #3
Not only did Burrard Chapter #3 held their official visit of the Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron, they also celebrated their 116th birthday. Burrard is the oldest chapter open in the Grand Chapter of British Columbia and Yukon.

Burrard visits Gibsons
Members of Burrard #3 travelled to Gibsons to have lunch with members that live on the Sunshine Coast. So grateful to those who arranged transportation and lunch reservations. We fit in a little shopping before heading home.

Grand Representative of Missouri
Sister Navarr Firbank was annonced as the Grand Representative of the Grand Chapter Missouri in the Grand Chapter of British Columbia and Yukon at the Grand Session on May 28 and was presented her certificate and pin at Burrard Chapter on June 18, 2025.

Honour Day – Jackie O’Rouke
Burrard Chapter #3 celebrated an honour day during their meeting for Sister Jackie O’Rouke, PM, Grand Representative to the District of Columbia. Sister Karen Yoshioka talked about Jackie’s OES history while Sister Pat Haywood talked about the District of Columbia and Jackie’s trip to their Grand Chapter Session.

Sister Ann Lysholm, PGM, presented Sister Betty MacDuff, PGM with her 50-year pin. Congratulations on the wonderful milestone!

Honour Day – Pat Haywood
While Sister Stacey Jordan-Knox, PGM gave the history of Sister Pat Haywood, Grand Representative of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, Assistant Director of Cancer Activities, Sister Ann Lysholm, PGM bandaged her with reams of dressings (actually reams of toilet paper) to the delight of all who attended. Burrard Chapter #3 and Langley Chapter #50 hosted an honour day for Ann Lysholm, General Grand Chapter Committee Member Co-Chair for Cancer, and Donna Galpin, Triennial Special Assembly Committee – Faithful Note. It was a lovely event enjoyed by all.

Sister Haywood visits Nova Scotia & PEI
Over the summer, Sister Pat Haywood, PM, Grand Representative to the Grand Chapter of Nova Scotia & PEI traveled east to attend their Grand Chapter. She was accompanied by Sister Karen Yoshioka, PM, Sister Betty MacDuff, PGM, and Sister Ann Lysholm, GGCCM co-chair on Cancer. She was able to visit with her counterpart, Sister Agnes
