First GGCCM Information Afternoon
On the occasion of Crescent’s chapter’s 113th birthday, they hosted the first ever(??) Information Afternoon. Sister JoAnne Finley, GGCCM Cancer, Sister Eileen Howells, GGCCM Eastern Star Journal, Sister Sue Paugh, GGCCM Alzheimer’s, and Sister Mernie Sutton, GGCCM Heart, all spoke on their commissions. An amazing dinner was presented by donation to the local projects.

Honour Day for Sis. Cheryl Rikley WGM & Bro. Terry Porter WGP
On Saturday, August 16, 2025, Arbutus Chapter #68 and Crescent Chapter #10 hosted over 130 members and friends who came to celebrate with the WGM, Sister Cheryl Rikley, and the WGP, Brother Terry Porter. Stories were told, songs were sung, and gifts were presented. A good time was had by everyone. Well done everyone!

Island Grand Officers Honour Day
Sister Cynthia Hague, Grand Chaplain of Sharon Chapter #4, Sister Deb Buxton GGCCM – Alzheimer’s, Grand Lecturer of Sunset Chapter #44, and Brother Brian Evans, Grand Sentinel of Crescent Chapter #10 were honoured by their chapters at a joint honour day on Thursday, March 27 in Nanaimo.
